need a nice .EXE file
Fallen into a problem and I can't get out.
This may sound pretty stupid to the most of you out there (I'm pretty new to this stuff), but I currently have an AVS packed fresh and ready to go. To get this thing running, apparantly I need a nice, effecient .EXE file to slap this thing together for public distribution. Problem is, I don't know what to do from here...
What do yous guys use to get yours to the public?
Pretty embarrassing stuff.
Thanks.

I think most folks use Pimpbot. I believe winzip will make .exe files as well. I'm not sure but I think the most important part would have to be to make sure the files install to the correct directory.

to be exact, winzip indeed makes exe files also but most of these seen at winamp.com are illegal usages of winzip. so instead make a zip, or when submitting not into the forum but into the avs presets plugin section, use pimpbot or make an installer in nsis.
get pimpbot here: http://pimpbot.whyeye.org/

You can use NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) thats what a lot of people do... however it takes a little while to learn. If you want more information just go the the NSIS forums here on wa.com

Yup, I bask in the glow of amazingness while everyone else is doomed to mediocrity like Tugg.

the usual directory would be
C:\program files\winamp\plugins\avs
