SIngle Release
Just one preset. Commentswould be great.

don't see a need for the channel-shift, as you can do the same using the color-map.. this also gives you better transitions

11th November 2004 00:34 UTC

yeah, you get more variety though - instead of 8 you get 48

11th November 2004 01:15 UTC

But why would you need 48 different color settings? Even 8 is too much, usually it's best to carefully choose a couple of good colors and stick to them. The preset is more focused then.

And btw. Replace/Replace effect list does nothing else than suck up your fps away.

Looks fine. Only the colors are not my taste, they're a bit too "monocolored".

I think i've seen the fçk thing now...
Don't really like the d=.2 movement too

sorry

11th November 2004 22:37 UTC

That's the way i like the colors more, hope you like it, too...

12th November 2004 03:04 UTC

Hey, i like :D

And WotL - that's not fçk's superscope, i wrote it - it just happens to kind of do the same thing.

12th November 2004 06:41 UTC

it sure looks that way.. okay then

12th November 2004 08:58 UTC

this one rotates freely, the other one stops at 90* each time.

Wow, cool presets too. It's a shame that one can't know all of the many great avs artists out there.

14th November 2004 02:26 UTC

you can, most of them are hanging around here, but you know me, i make up for 3 of them ;) ;)

Not quite. A lot of AVS artist stick to other places such as Deviantart, i.e. Amphirion, VHS-Guri and many others. And just when you think you know them all, another great artist appears from nowhere with the most beautiful stuff.
Remember, I too had been AVS'ing for almost two years before I joined the community. (not suggesting that I'm a 'great artist' :))

But not an bad one, either.. ;)

But you're right, there are only a handful avs'lers around at the forums, compared to the real number. I was also messing with avs for 2-3 years before i joined the forums in september (not suggesting that i'm productive... but that i'm having fun doing my stuff ;))

Then look at me: barely 2 packs in 4 years.. you call that poductive then?

15th November 2004 20:48 UTC

well that are 2 packs more than me. ;)
I have about a ten presets in stock, but i just don't find the time to make a intro and complete my first pack...:(

15th November 2004 21:28 UTC

Then let's stop talking about it and start creating presets. :)

15th November 2004 22:05 UTC

Damn, i knew i forgot something...

/me closing browser and starting AVS to make my best presets ever...

15th November 2004 22:29 UTC

It goes both ways too, I've been messing with avs for something like 6 years and I still suck at it.

16th November 2004 01:46 UTC

I've made 110 presets since april - i'm rather productive, too bad most of them sucked :(
