Triange fun
Made a preset with the new triangle ape. It looks really neato with the older version of triangle ape, the one with the overlapping lines.

Could someone please post this new triangle ape so I don't have to be arsed in downloading a new version of winamp because I'm a lazy monkey.

really amazing preset, incredibly fast and stylish. but the response could be improved I think.

I concur with hboy on the response, to be more precise i think the rise and fall of the scopes should be more smooth and slower.
Also i wonder why didn't you make it a "perfect" hexagon? As in symmetrical on all sides. Agreed, it does give it a slight variation and the "feel" of something new, but maybe a "click chance" to change it to perfect shape would be cool, no?

btw, what preset did you took the whannabe-phong-lighting code from?
just to note that phong works only well with curved surfaces, reccomend you use simple dot product petween eye-point and normal vectors and heck lightsource innit somehow ;)

I got the phong-lighting code from some example on backface-culling you posted.
