okay.. its not avs but i think its funky. please ignore my complete abuse of this forum.
for anyone who wants to d/l it it needs excel 2003. those who can't you are missing nothing... its a spinning wireframe cube rendered to a 32x24 patch of the excel cell grid.
edit:stupid can't add attachments to edit posts etc..

for some reason i can't delete my own post oh well..
if anyone did care this version also works in excel 2000 with a tiny code change (it was updating every .5 seconds before.. i had to change it to every 1). next time i get stuck at work with nothing to do for ages expect to see a bresenham line drawing version... right now it uses my own r33t++ super hax :)

In the spirit of AVS at work.
I tried to run . . . whatever that was right from my office location & was unable to because of security measures preventing the Excel spreadsheet to run properly.

Man you have way too much spare time at work
*opens excel*
[edit] Maybe saying you have too much free time is a bit hypocrytical considering I'm casually browsing the winamp forums at work[/edit]

no time to work on it today :/
my coding skills are being appreciated and am currently writing an enormous vba macro, its actually pretty dull but at least its code :)
nice work tomy.. great minds think alike.. blah blah
the difference is that i took the most difficult route to making it, using cells as a video array... not exactly speedy or efficient.

its all the same.
new with bresenham line and custom resolution + uses colors instead of text to fill the cells.
its like programming a 8088 or something... fun because it is so rubbish to make anything good. now i just need a framerate > 1fps

On friday at TAFE I spent the day drawing pictures of my TAFE mates killing eachother... not just lazy, it's morbid.
