iJenAPE v2.0 - Preset Coders Wanted!
Hello all!
We've just released a new version of our APE plugin for AVS, iJenAPE. For those of you who don't know, this APE uses iJen to capture motion from your webcam and renders it inside the AVS.
It hasn't been published on winamp.com yet, but you can get a copy from http://www.ijen-ape.com/.
We may be good at making motion detection technology over here, unfortunately we suck at making AVS presets. So here's the challenge: Can you make a super sweet AVS preset using iJenAPE? We'd love to see it. :)
To use iJenAPE you'll need a USB webcam and drivers. It must support at least one kind of RGB output and a resolution of 320x240. You'll also need DirectX9.0a or greater.
Regards,
The SYFi Team.

The minimum resolution might be a bit too large. Many people use smaller sizes than that for AVS. is there any possible way to solve that?

I never said that I use a smaller res. But I know plenty people who do, e.g. 150x200 and move AVS to the upper left of their screen while listening to music.

I use 280x280, which some people still say is too small and weird resolution :igor:
But ah, i don't have a webcam... Buy me one? :blah::p:blah::p:blah:

a. don't have a webcam
b. any "incentives?", like cash. QuadHelix has sponsored two contests, in which the first and second place winners get money.

Buy me a webcam and I'll make you some presets with it :p. My resolution is way above the minimum requirements. Though from here I can't exactly see what it is.
