unable to select picture II in avs 2.79/XP
Whenever I try to select or add picture II in the avs editor, it gives me that "winamp has detected a problem" message and then closes.
It looks like it's unable to draw the UI.
I also tried "classic windows" theme (thinking it might be the XP manifest), no change.
My specs:
Pentium 4
ATI radeon 9600
Windows XP home SP1
Directx9

Weird, it works fine here on Win2K with AVS2.79 (WA5rc9) if I use Picture2 here...
If you have a debugger, it would be handy if you could paste the asm code where it crashes, but other than that there's not much I can do.

I use XP and I copied the AVS2.79 .dll from Winamp5 to Winamp2. I can load Picture II in Winamp2 with AVS2.79 just fine. I do use a version of the uxtheme.dll (that's the .dll for the windows themes) that allows non-microsoft themes, but I don't think that matters. If that .dll made any difference, it would probably crash instead of fixing a problem.

Thanks, tried copying the dll.
Works perfectly in 2.91, so it has to be caused by something in WA5.
Btw same thing happens with tentacle & metaballs 3d and hotlist(2.2) beat detection ape.

Well, the latest version of AVS that is packed with the Winamp5 beta says v2.79 in the 'about'-section, so I guess it's AVS2.79.

I havn't tested the beat detector with WA5 yet. Besides i experienced that transitions with render old effect will cause both beat detectors to work so Hotlist will count 2 beats instead of 1 during those transitions. Fixed that for Hotlist 2.3.
