AVS difficulty
i read the avs faq.....but i do not have an avs about window or a plug-ins list....can someone out there help me....please??

Err.. these are weird questions...

ok, the plugin list is only in WA 2*, not winamp 3
if you are using winamp 3, you can get to avs by using the "thinger" button.

The avs about box? im not to sure excactly what you mean, but: When you open up avs, double click on the display window, and the editor pops up. The "about window" is just a thing saying who the authors are, not much use to anyone, its in the top right hand corner of the avs editor, under the "help" list.

Is any of this what you meant?

Okay, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean (I hope)

To get to the plug in screen and turn on AVS, go to the main menu (the little button in the upper left hand corner of Winamp) go to 'visualization', then go to select plug in. This is the plug-in list. On that screen, select the first plug-in in the window. This is the AVS plug-in, and clicking start will bring up the AVS window.

But like Siddhartha said - if you are using Winamp3, then you can bring up AVS by clicking the icon in the thinger.

Ctrl+p --> visualization
If there is no "Advanced Visualization Studio" listed, redownload standard or full. If there is, select it and press "start".
