Utter Psychosis I ready?
Well, after many months of on and off work, I think i am finally ready to submit, but I just want to get an opinion first. I use the "standard" APEs (UnConeD's and Convolution).

Not really all that interesting, but I think the Sombrero and your venom submission are the best. Still the whole pack seemed a little lackluster. I say you should work on these a little more, because you have some decent effects (SuperOSC, Radiowaves HQ, sph2...) but they seem to need more polish.

Do you have all the "standard" APEs?

In this pack, I used:
Convolution
Texer
Color map
Channel shift
Multiplier

This is probably the case because at least one of these is used in all of my presets except for the Venom one (at least, I don't think).

There are some nice presets in there. I thing you should rename b though. :)

I found the intro ran too slow. I got 6.6 FPS.

Overall , not a bad pack, but nothing truly ground breaking.

I liked Venom and Radio Waves. (is there a LQ one?)

Never was much of a fan of metablob presets.

The intro is really slowed by the text. The only real way to speed it up is to disable the effect list with the text (as explained in the comments). I'm going to remove the HQ on the radiowaves- i originally had a lower quality one, but I trashed it. Many of the presets without Utter Psychosis I [...] still need to be named.

Very nice pack :) I like almost all the presets.Here is my big fat ass pumpin` review :

b - Great alpha blending and colors,this is the best preset in the pack,IMHO.Could have been nicer(and slower...) with a dynamic movement that flies above it.

fall - Cool colors,but the ball movement is a bit overdone,dont you think ? Anyway,sweet preset.

lscape2 - This comes from landscape 2 ? What happened to nr.1 ? :) Back to our sheeps,the preset is quite cool but it seems to be a bit
empty to me.Could use more colors or a sea ;)

mb - Blobbies! Nice but,guess what,empty! Those blobs are quite original and nice.Nice work.

mbdm - More blobbies! Now available with more colors!Have you noticed that the preset goes psychotic from time to time ? Gets flashy and doesnt change its shape...Weird!

Intro - slow,cant view it at greater speed cause it goes black when i turn pixel doubling on o.O Seems to be cool though!

Radiowaves - Original preset,nicely done overall.It looks better with the invert off IMO.

Sombrero - Cool,i like it.Looks like UCD`s Intergalactic Octopus,except that yours is a bit mad onbeat,moves toooo fast.

Sph2 - F-A-BU-LOUS color effect! To die for! Sweet preset.Nr 2 in the pack.

SuperOSC Fire RMX - The fire is blue at the beggining ?! And the alpha blending makes them have normal colors...Hmmm....This is cool!Nice nice,very nice.

SuperOSC - Nice,i like the mosaic effect.The preset is a bit slow,but i like it.

Venom contest submission - Kewl and empty.This would prolly look good using a green or blue flowish background.

Overall pack rating - 4.5
Thumbs up - nice effects and colors :up:
Thumbs down - speed of some presets and obsession with blobs :down:

fall- working on a better mvt
b- changing name, adding more fx so it isn't as fast
lscape2- need a name. it is not supposed to be green/blue like a landscape. If you want that, change the last color map to map 1
intro- i know of that bug. will try to fix it

What about the mbdm bug ? I can watch it for 10 seconds then it starts changing colors at über speeds for a few seconds and after that it returns to its normal look,then it goes again and again...

That isn't a bug. I coded it to do that (see the comment). Every 10 or 20 beats, it switches to the "square", each blob's distance defined by getosc().

I designed it on a 750-MHz. Recommended FPS is around 13.

I have a 750MHz duron and 192mb sdr,but i swear it is flashing and changing colors fast from time to time,about 10 seconds.
