AVS & cd wont work right
 Ok, I poured through the forum subjects on the subject, THOUGHT i had found the solution several times, and several times i was dissappointed. My AVS is working excellent when i play a file from my hard drive, but if i choose a cd the AVS runs but it acts like no music is playing, please someone help?! i dont want to go to jail for avs-slaughter!

AVS & CD's don't work with WinAmp 2 for some reason, that is if you're using WinAmp 2... Otherwise they should work in WinAmp 3, but who uses that anyway :p

I use it. 3 takes up way too much resources, didn't care for that. otherwise it was cool. and the avs USED to work with my cd's......
did they rewrite it or something? :o

Try setting the music output in the preferences to different drivers, maybe that would work(happened to me once)

Check your recording settings in the volume settings for your soundcard (doubleclick the speaker icon in the system tray, then check the menu's there).

Huh what WinAmp version you have (not wa3)? I use 2.81 and i've never been able to view avs with cd's... :igor: But then again i don't even want to :p I've ripped my cd's to mp3's :D

Best way would be to convert the cd music into mp3 and play, because running cd's in winamp3 along with AVS isnt such a nice way afterall.

tug: your computer is wankous. i've always been able to use cd's with winamp and use avs (and have it respond).

lol I was searching for the same answer as at a friends PC and the CD would not play. Sort of guessed it would be that tick box but why on earth is this not enable from a fresh install I will never know.
