Couple of AVS bugs
Ive looked in the forums and FAQs for at least 2 hours, so dont tell me im lazy if someone has already posted these bugs. I certainly didnt find them.

Bug 1.
When i click on the full screen button in AVS, the visualization freezes. When i first tried this, after just installing winamp3, it worked fine. I toyed around with it, trying different styles and resizes to see how it worked. Next time i tried to use it, the bug appeared. Even if i now close the AVS after getting the bug, and reopen the window for it, it doesnt work, just remains frozen. The only way to get it to work at all is to close and restart winamp. And then not touch the full screen button.

Bug 2.
Becoming sick of not being able to resize the AVS, i decided to keep checking out the preset visualizations. Having clicked 3 times of the 'next' button, the following click caused one of those wondorous fatal errors which closed winamp entirely and asked me if i wanted to send microsoft an error report. I did. I always do. Im a good boy. I do my bit.

Now for my system details:
Athlon XP 2000 (1662 MHz)
256 DDR-Ram
nForce intergrated GPU (=GeForce 2)
Windows XP Pro

I really liked the AVS when it worked. Too bad it doesnt anymore.

After stuffing around with it (for an hour), i actually managed to get AVS working again. Now only the presets dont work properly, which is fine. I didnt even change anything, it just decided to start working in full screen again. Creepy.

just in case you didn't know, video cards don't do crap for avs - just ram and pcu speed.

also, try using winamp 2.91 with avs 2.5. they're the least buggy afaik.

Both those bugs you mentioned sound like Winamp bugs to me, not AVS bugs. AVS is decently stable, Winamp 3 is not in my experiance.

Unless you're talking about AVS2.6, that's as stable as Uranium 239.

I think winamp3 is to AVS is like windowsXP is to DOS games.
