Lack of AVS
I think I may just be a completely dumb blonde, but here goes:
I'm lacking any sort of AVS. It's not on the Thinger menu, and as far as I can see it's not on my hardrive anywhere, despite having installed regular old Winamp3 off the site eons ago. What's going on here? Thanks,
Lydia

Are you downloading the light version of winamp? (Is there any light version anymore? Haven't downloaded winamp in... lemme count...)
Then AVS shouldn't come with winamp.
Download standard or full version, or go to the chatroom and ask someone for the dll file (not too recommended) (may require assembly)
And winamp3 is not exactly the best thing for AVS... winamp3 is a resource hog.
Nonetheless, enjoy AVS if you ever get it...

Um... winamp3 only comes in full version...

You might not have installed AVS when you installed Winamp3. There is an option for not installing AVS.

and...use winamp 2.91. it's better in more ways than i can count. (and i can count to really big numbers, let me tell you that right now.)

and... use AVS 2.5.1, that way square windows are possible and top-left-shift bug in DMs can be countered. (2.6 doesn't have any major bug fixes, so 2.5.1 is a better choice)

ummm...one, two, seven, four, threeve, nine.
So 2.5.1 works with 2.91? That's a relief. I was wondering if there was a problem doing that because of the difference in skinning.
