Ive got an idea...
Now I have no idea how to make a visualization, plugin, skin(other than using one of those skinner progs that are frowned upon) or anything else. But I have an idea for a visualization/skin. Im not sure if it can be done. And if it could be done, it would be very awesome indeed.

If anyone who has got expertise on visualizations and skins wants to hear my idea, plz PM me. This thing will take some serious skills though(if it can even be done).

Wishlist is for idea for AVS itself, not for a preset.

I'm not sure whether to delete this topic or move it to the general AVS forums... mods?

You're better off describing it to us anyway, no one's going to steal your idea. If you want someone to do something for you you can't expect them to go through the ballache of pm's and arsing about. Just say and if we'll help you we'll help you.

Ok, well since I only got 1 pm about it, might as well.

I was wondering if its possible to use a visualization as a skin to make an animated skin.

This is possible through AVS overlay.

Just use a simple skin generater and use a uncommon color as background (that should be the avs-skin later on) then create some pretty avs and enable overlay to exactly this color and it'kll work fine because everything in a diffrent color (text, lines, whatever) will still be visible!
Btw, dont enable set color to Desktop.

yeah but then you have winamp open and in turn the vas window has to stay open and it sort of ruins the novelty.

Righ, but actually this is the only way to realize this for a non programmer (imo)
