First DM preset 4 me, Advice welcome.
This was my first DM preset. I actually took this 1 seriously, unlike that sphicotic siezure, which i don't know why I put it on, but...

Not bad. The DM makes things shiny, thats kind of nice. Don't use those godawful Moving particles anymore. They're to AVS what cheezwhizz is to food. Not to mention in those ugly noob clours. Sorry but MP's are awful. Replace Replace Effect lists don't do anything and the two DM's can be shortened to:
d=d*atan(4)/5;
r=r/sin(r)*3;
It doesn't do the exact same thing but it gives the same effect. Overall it's a little noobish but it's an advancement from your last work so :up:

it is still n00bish, but it's making it's way past the barrier. The DM flashes a bit too much, IMO, and I abhor MP's.

Never use moving particles!

I wouldn't say never. Just hold it to a minimum. They should not be used like this, IMO.

I agree.

But why are you using a dynamic movement if you aren't making it dynamic? (or use alpha blend) You could just do the same with regular movements and it would be faster & more accurate.

I disagree, I used moving particles in a preset for my new pack and it turned out great!
it's just use it properly

Tuggummi, when i was still in the noob phase i used DM's like that because they had the grid size. The grid size for regular movements is almost definately already on the wishlist though.

Use MP sparingly, got that. But How do I make DMs Dynamic?

You set some variables in the frame and beat sections, then use those in your per point section.
