IAB AVS ~* -- My first pack
hey all,
my first avs pack is finally done :D . It aint as good as many other packs around here, but I still hope you like it. I'm looking forward to a lot of comment. Anything is welcome, opinions, criticism, ideas, (remixes would be really sweet ;) ) Just don't burn me down, it's my first pack only. :)

This is excellent for a first pack. You have some sweet looking effects in there. You need to learn to get all the effects you want through the least things possible though. Like rotations. Instead of drawing all the scopes and using a DM to synchronise them. Use the same getosc functions and move them inside the scope. I can see you experimenting with simple DM's and scopes and this is good work. I really like the star one. Looks great. Overall i would give it a 3.3/5. Great noob pack although a little small, keep it up.

Here is my review of your presets.
01 - Intro - Ok but it is hard to read the text at the bottom.
02 - Snowflake - Could be better.
03 - Nuclear Blobs - Nice.
04 - A star in the grey world - Nice colors on the star.
05 - rollin' - This is your best preset yet.
06-compact disc - The colors are OK but I don't really like this one much.
07-Organic - Nice preset.
08-Nature - Looks the same with the music on or off. Not very nice.
09-Fractal Flower - This is the simplest preset in the pack.

Decent first pack. I prefer smaller packs like this to the monster 30 preset packs that some people release.
The presets all looked pretty good and had decent reaction to the music, which is what this is all about, except the intro. I didn't like that much. It's the first thing prople will see. Make it nice to look at. I can't even read half the text because of distortions.
Overall a quite asthetically pleasing, though not to tehnically advanced pack.
 keep it up.

Tough I'm really anxious to hear your opinion about Nature. I know it isn't interactive with music, but I like the general effect is gives. And I like the fact that it is rendered only from a Clear Screen.

And I'm really curious about the opinion of Tuggummi and Unconed, Their AVS'es inspired me to start making my own ones.

Overall it's a good pack . Keep up the good work.
Intro - Wasn't able to read anything.
Snowflake - What about another background? I hate starfields ;) If you rotate the hole figure in response to the music, I would actually like it more.
Nuclear Blobs - Nothing to say. Just good.
A Star ... - Make the background a bit brighter. I didn't notice it at all in the beginning. Perhaps you want to fog it out.
Rollin - Don't like that one much.
Compact Disc - Nice.
Organic - Reminded me of Tuggummi's Digital Flow. What about some colorchanging?
Nature - Mhh.. No. Not for me ;)
Fractal Flower - That's a nice one.
