My biggest AVS wish
Is that nullsoft stop releasing the same version of AVS over and over with slightly different version numbers. When was the last *actual* change to AVS made?

2.4 -> 2.5 I think. I remember the addition of the DM and Bilinear Filtering, though that might've been 2.3 -> 2.4.

I *think* alpha blending was added in 2.4

I agree Jheriko. Nothing has been done to it - just changes in Winamp. They need to actually do something to AVS.

Or they could just stop incrementing the version number because that trick doesn't work on us. Like AVS 2.6... is it a major revision from AVS 2.5/2.5.1??? No. No new features have been added to AVS that I could find... at all.
All that incrementing the version number does for me is wind me up after I search desperately for changes and find none.

They can fool people who use 'AVS to get chicks' but not the artists ;)

LMAO. But why should artist not get chicks ;)
Anyway, what we really need would be a kind of AVS-history, just like the Wianmp history. So we could see what has been improved.
Just as said many times before: I WHISH AVS HAD A GOO DOCUMENTATION!!!

Because steve has already made a thread about how avs will be made better all in good time blah blah blah BLAH BLAH. The least they could do is not put out a, more buggy, with some slightly edited "features" with a different number version so we all "ooh" and "aah" over it until we realise nothing's changed.

No, i mean a Documentation, not a Primer. Primer is a noobie guide. I though about something like a real documetation and a history that'll show the changes.
