more newbie dummy stuff
I got all your posts on Milkdrop, so I downloaded it. But it's looking for Winamp 2, and is not recognizing the path for WA3. Is it a WA2 app that won't run on 3?

you can run milkdrop on winamp3 by using the classic visualization preset. You can find it in the components section :) But try deleting milkdrop and start AVSing !

Or (and yes, I know it's getting old, but I gotta say it) you could just go with WINAMP 2...Why? you ask. Because it WORKS, unlike WA3....

I'm curious why this is being discussed in this forum. There is a milkdrop forum.

me too...WA3 is too buggy and slow. Winamp 2.81 has never crashed on its own (except in AVS when I do some dumb math that makes it crash)
