Quite nice, looks very smooth. reminds me of your avatar. needs some onbeat distance changing and some different shape effect type things and then itl be a nice preset.

Yeah, pretty much what Raz said. Rotation speed/direction changes would be nice too. Really nice and fluid though. Those diagonal lines kinda stick out(looks better if the last movement is replaced with something more like:r=r-6*sin(d)). Good Job Pixelcraft.

Nice.
You could change the DM to a regular movement. It gives a circular center instead of the dimond, and it's a tad faster. The second effect list isn't enabled either, you can leave that out.

Cool
Raz, my avatar is actually a tiny screenshot of that preset, so that why it appeared to be so familiar:D
Anubis, I used DM for that movement equation because reg. movement looked really bad for some reason. The preset got really choppy graphics and turned way too dark dark, then the screen turned completly white. Weird.
Oh, I have a math question - in the movement r=r-6*sin(d)) why do you need 2 parenthases for the last part?

where did you see that? theres most probly another bracket further to the left that you didnt notice otherwise, this would break the movement and that part of the equation would do nothing.

The second ')' in my post is to end the parenthesis block. The equation should just be r=r-6*sin(d). And I didn't say to use a regular movement - that was jaheckelsafar.

ahhh, didnt notice that there :o .

Thanks for clearing that up.
Sorry about that Jaheckelsafar! I guess I had too much on my mind or something :o

Wow, that's pretty cool i say. Pretty cool "lighting" effects indeed. But it needs to be more responsive, i suggest you also add a slight fadeout in within the first effectlist and an extra starfield. Then just make the blitter feedback to respond to beat, or make a pumping dm.
And the preset worked for me in the regular movement, no problems there. Maybe you forgot to check bilinear filtering? :weird:

I hate when I accidentally uncheck bilinear filtering. Sometimes it ends up looking like something is wrong with your code, but its just that gay checkbox.

Yeah but movements and DMs all work faster whithout bilinear filtering and sometimes look better(whith xor blending, when you want a mosaic like effect,..)

thats what mosaics are for :p
