Recording Visualizations With Camtasia...
OK I downloaded the trial version of Camtasia to record some visualizations. First off, I need to figure out how to adjust the window size first, but I tried recording a visualization on Winamp v.3 and during playback it was really slow and jittery. Is this because of the framerate or what? What should I set it to on Winamp and on Camtasia? Thanks everyone!

Sorry, never heard of Camtasia. If it works how I think it does, you're never going to get great frame rates except if you have an uber-computer. AVS is processor thirsty. If Camtasia is ripping from the screen, encoding, and saving to your HD, it's taking all those cycles away from Winamp and AVS.

You might try recording uncompressed, or use one of the AVS recording APEs out there. (check the APE list in the troubleshooting forum)

what Jaheckelsafar forgot to mention: this does not, in any way, shape, or form, belong on this forum. AVS is not camtasia, nor is camtasia AVS. contact the makers of camtasia if you need help.
