Please guys... at least download it... For those who don't know (maybe that includes everybody) i'm the author of pack like "Gonzalo's AVS Again" or "Gonzalo's OverRMXed Pack".... yeah... guess who... I'm Gonzalo. So if you downloaded any of these pack, i guarantee you'll see some cool things here. :)

Don't expect people to download it within 2 hrs of upload - especially not on this forum :)
Wow, man, you really know what you're doing - 4 star pack here. They really look like they could be sped up, but otherwise they're (mostly) original, aesthetic and (despite their lack of optimization) fairly fast. Three things though: If your preset needs an APE, include the APE (in the preset and the pack) and credit the author; number your presets and make your own installer; and make more presets - 10's kind of small for a pack.
BTW, how long have you been AVSing?
Good luck, man :) I hope to see more from you.

Pretty much what ATero said =P
Great presets... the intro have one of the most realistic clouds that I've seen, and how long have you been AVSing?
Looking forward to more presets from ya =)

Nice :)
The 3D Cilinder and Brain Whash I really liked and the other presets are cool too but like Atero said you really need to optimise them.

I think Brain Wash was the best of the bunch. It's a very decent pack and worth the download. GJ.

Thanx!
Thanks a lot you guys, this really means a lot to me... now I know what to do next. I had some more presets ready just in case anyway... I've been AVSing since the beggining of this year, and I've relased 5 packs. Expect some cool aplha blending effects and such. Thanks a lot guys, you really gave me reasons to keep on doing this! Can't remember who said this, but, "Keep this digital art alive!" or something like that... Thanx, you guys rule :D

Hey guys I have some presets for the pack... They're lookin good, but just tell me if I should upload the whole pack again or just the new presets... Ok that's all.

deviantART is a way to get your presets noticed (better than WA imho); same with deskmod. it takes maybe two minutes to sign up, and two minutes to upload anything you damn well please ;)
and the WA search engine isn't working for me, it never has.
and upload something, man; we don't care if you re-upload the whole pack or not :p

Aah, great pack GMF, great indeed! Visually appealing and technically good.
The fact that these are the first presets i see from you, impress me even more. Or... wait... i think i have seen your OverRemixed pack (or something like that), but i don't remember much from it and since i have deleted it from my avs folder...
Anyway, good work and hope to see more of it!
and btw. I know one female avser! Her name is daftcunt and you can find her at http://daftcunt.deviantart.com
btw2. Yeah, maybe you should make a couple more presets, so there would be more eye candy for the viewers :)

The star one is excellent; the fire effect is nice; but the other two aren't up to par with the rest of the pack (especially since one persistently crashes).

24th December 2002 19:52 UTC
Thanks there too ... I don't know why it crashes... Maybe the Color Map? Anyway... I think that Bumpy Carpet looks quite cool, but I'm not goin to discuss with Atero about me likin my presets or not... hehe. Ok I just need to know why don't you like Bumpy Carpet, cause the other one is out... Maybe I should optimize them? But they turn too slow, and that's exactly what I have to improve... Speed-up tips, anyone?
And thanks there Tuggummi for the info too, I really think that female AVSers could be a great thing...

12th January 2003 17:55 UTC
Include the pictures with the zip next time. I got them out of your previous zip but it would be nicer if I didn't have to.
Bumpy Carpet is alright. The carpet effect is nice, but it should change some or else the preset gets boring quickly. Also, the bubble stays centered on the screen; try making it move some.
Fractalish Colormania - The fractal has been done before, but I like your twist on it. The color effect is real nice.
Keep up the good work zamuz

There are some very lovley crisp presets in there. All I can say is keep on keeping on. I'm a sk8r but I didn't quite get the Space vert one it just looked like starfields to me with a darker patch in the middle.. mabe I was missing an ape(check my avatar)or something???
The brainwash preset blew me away 5 stars 4 that one.. They're my fav type of presets that have some real substance..

This is what I like, werrrry GOOD.
3D Cilinder : i love it, bit boring but i didnt say its bad...
Bitform Tunnel : :igor: (i dont feel so good)
Brain Wash : One of my favourits (it just washes the brain)
Cromatized Slumps <= I just love the movemest
Signs : Bit boring, make it more soundresponsible.
Snowy Abstraction : neat (i feel gold [well its -24 C outside])
Vision : cute on
Allready waiting for asom stuff from U...

12th January 2003 20:46 UTC
VisualAgnosia maybe the pictures aren't where they should be... check if hpipe.bmp and squares.bmp are in the AVS folder. Signs is only beat-responsive, I don't know how to make it more sound-responsive cause i'm no good at superscopes and i'm too lazy to learn, and there's no other effect I could think of to get that result. I think that's the thing that most of my preset kind of lack... the sound response. Brain Wash seems to be the most popular preset... That Biform Tunnel thing... I included it cause it was my first DM attempt, but it's kinda lame... that one's out. Thanks everybody for the support.
dirkdeftly
14th January 2003 06:12 UTC
gonzalo, fix the alpha blending on Bumpy Carpet; right now the edges are *really* ugly. and always use specific names for your bitmaps - don't just do 'squares.bmp', instead do 'gnzlovisions-squares.bmp' so as to avoid any cloning :)

14th January 2003 20:59 UTC
Thanks there Anubis... and Atero yeah it looks ugly but I'm not too good at that... I'll do what I can, and I'll try to add more movement to the bump cause it's really static. The bitmap issue will be fixed when I relase the pack. I have a new version of 3D Cilinder ready, I think it looks a lot cooler... Enjoy.
anubis2003
14th January 2003 21:03 UTC
The surface has an interesting shine to it, but I liked the squares that changed colors a little more as opposed to a bitmap. Still really nice though.

20th January 2003 01:53 UTC
Here's the best I could get out of Bumpy Carpet (the bubble moves a little, but it's always circular...) and a new preset that looks really cool but kinda lacks something... Enjoy.

20th January 2003 02:05 UTC
Nice work, good preset but maybe you could get it to move the lens around a little more. Artsy messy isnt bad, i made something similar a yesterday, i didnt think it was good enough but had potential, i ended up ruining it and not saving it, could use a little something else, like something more going on inside the lines or in the white bit. Anyway the rest of them are great, very nice work.
anubis2003
20th January 2003 05:54 UTC
I like bumpy carpet now, although I still think it would look a bit nicer if the shape of the carpet texture changed. The bump is now a circle, but it barely moves.
Artsy Messy is kinda boring. The color effects are nice, but it looks like I'm seeing the same thing over and over again.
dirkdeftly
20th January 2003 08:53 UTC
Artsy Messy is good, but not as good as your other stuff. Bumpy carpet...I don't know what you're doing here, but somehow I know it's not necessary. I'll try to figure out how to make a round bump-shape movement, if you'd like...
zamuz
20th January 2003 14:53 UTC

Since I'm too lazy to update the attachment, replace the Beat section of the last dynamov with this:

riy=rand(100)/50000-0.001;
anubis2003

(btw i never thought this thread would even get close to 2 pages...)

Not only does it move, it smooths out so that you don't *have* to alpha-blend it (allowing it, among other things, to move freely).
zamuz
21st January 2003 04:02 UTC
Yep, that's more noticable if you disable the blend in that DM...
I just have one question: Atero, are you really 14 years old? Cause I am, but you know way too much maths...

anubis2003
22nd January 2003 14:44 UTC
I like the addition raz, I would reccomend using a velocity(change it on-beat) to control the bar instead of using sine. This way, it would keep on moving and wouldn't follow a fixed path.
Btw, I got senior membership in less than 3 weeks.
Raz
22nd January 2003 16:17 UTC

Edit: Just figured out that it looks cooler if you put the Set render mode and the Superscope under the DM, so it applies to the whole thing, not just the white part.

Ok here it is... The current Visions pack, by Gonzalo Munoz.
anubis2003
23rd January 2003 14:49 UTC
Have any of these changed from the original version except for the changes you posted? I would consider throwing out space vert unless you can make it look a bit more like a halfpipe (going in between the two sides of it might work). Right now it just looks like a piece of wood floating around.
Raz
23rd January 2003 17:27 UTC
Very nice, Excellent pack. Annubis is right about space vert though, it just looks like a big glowing orange line IMO. Otherwise great.
zamuz
23rd January 2003 17:40 UTC
That post was made to see the pack progress, so there are no new changes... and about Space Vert, yeah the halfpipe look is... well lame. But I don't know how to improve it, as I've said before, I'm no pro. I'll try, of course, but don't expect too much.
zamuz
24th January 2003 22:30 UTC
New preset for you to enjoy... Some things to play around with:
- If you want to see more action one slower songs, set the inner-most Fadeout to none. If you see way too much chaos, set that same Fadeout to something higher (Not too much though, cause you'll ruin the whole effect using too much Fadeout).
- For some speed up, try disabling the 2nd effect list and the Brightness.
Enjoy.
anubis2003
25th January 2003 00:54 UTC
It's alright. I like it much more without the second effect list and brightness. Also, try changing the SSC from the default to a customized one(gets boring seeing the same ones over and over again).
Raz
25th January 2003 01:06 UTC
Not bad, its not as good as your other presets, like anubis said, use a differect more interesting superscope.
zamuz
25th January 2003 04:22 UTC
...And I was here thinking "Wow! I finally made a dynamic flow movement! And a cool color combination as well!"... I know nothing about Superscope coding, so I guess if I can't figure out some improvements for this one, that should be the end result (and maybe another preset out of the pack).
And... I give up on Space Vert. I've been experimenting and thinking a lot to figure something out... but "3D" presets are just too much for my little mind. From now on i'll try to focus more on design... Sure, when get more knowledge (studying from other AVS artists and actually understanding the maths needed) i'll give it another shot.
anubis2003
25th January 2003 05:05 UTC
Here, I remixed the file some. What do you think? Include it in your pack if you want to(just give me some credit). Also I think I fixed an error in your DM (changed s2=a1+(s2/1.06); to s2=a2+(s2/1.06);).
You definitely should include your preset in the pack. It has some really nice color fx.
zamuz
25th January 2003 15:35 UTC
Hey, that superscope is indeed really cool! I'll include both presets in the pack  And thanks for ponting that error too.
anubis2003
25th January 2003 15:39 UTC
Thanks zamuz. It wasn't much of an error in terms of the end result. It still looked the same. My remix kinda looks like a spiderweb, no?
zamuz
25th January 2003 16:38 UTC
Now that I think about it, it does! And I just looked at the superscope effect list, and... I'm just amazed... Creating that kind of SSC actuall takes some time...
anubis2003
25th January 2003 17:00 UTC
Yeah, but I actually wrote a c++ program to output the superscope formulas for any polyhedron, given the coordinate list for each face - this helped a lot with my 120-polyhedron(120 faces,62 vertices). It still takes a long time to copy and paste, though.
Raz
26th January 2003 06:05 UTC
yeah but worth it, wow very very nice preset there
:down::):up:
zamuz
29th January 2003 20:12 UTC
Made some changes to the DM's from Flowy and Fractalish Colormania... They're a lot more dynamic now: In Flowy the DM switches on-beat randomly between 8 possible movements (but 2 of them appear most of the time), and in Fractalish Colormania the fractal changes its shape on-beat. Enjoy.
Edit: I think I'm done with this pack, cause I think it has enough presets, and this thread is way too big. Am I right?
anubis2003
29th January 2003 20:59 UTC
In fractalish colormania, I don't like how the smaller fractal stays almost completely black. Still looks nice though.
You're up to about 12 presets aren't you? I would go for a total of about 20.

Ok I was out of town for 2 weeks so I couldn't post these presets... I'm posting them now but I'm leaving again for another week so I'll have to wait to read your replies... But I got some beautiful thingies here... Check out Purple Sunset, a realistic yet beautiful and really good looking preset, I think. The others are two versions of my renderless experiments. Enjoy.
Raz
15th February 2003 10:58 UTC
nice, these look pretty sweet. Purple sunset is the best though, that is amazing 5 star preset there. Simplicity is too simple  you need to incorporate more shapes and change the colours a little more. Simplicity 2, same with this, it needs colour, this one looks a little better shapewise though. Good work overall
dirkdeftly
15th February 2003 19:33 UTC
Simplicity2 is a bit grainy, and the purple sunset needs to be a bit more dynamic and synced - the sky and sea are completely seperate ;)(nice use of bump tho). Simplicity is quite cool. I recognize the DM from something else you did....can't remember what it was
Phaze1987
15th February 2003 21:31 UTC
Purple sunset is a 6 stars preset! It is G R E A T :) Simplicity 1 and 2 are a little...simple.Try making it a bit more dynamic and make the background rotate a little ;)
anubis2003
15th February 2003 22:12 UTC
Simplicity(1 and 2) - Too simple IMHO. Need something to make them more complex.
Purple Sunset - Could be amazing, if you made the water and sky textures change. Also the sky texture isn't tileable, although the split isn't very noticible.
zamuz
24th February 2003 01:10 UTC
I'm back! :D
Those Simplicity presets are supposed to be that simple... I'll try to make them more interesting, but not more complex, to keep the original idea. And Purple Sunset is not synched cause I tried to make it as real as possible... You're supposedly not between two planes, just traveling through the water and the clouds just go where the wind leads them (maybe too fast, but it looks boring with a slower movement). Yeah, the sea and clouds are static, but I can't figure any way to make them move... They were made through static grains, but using moving grain looks ugly... Anybody has ideas on how to do this? Oh, and the DM on Simplicity is based on the Shiny Star alpha blend thing.
Thanks for the support everybody.
anubis2003
24th February 2003 01:15 UTC
Zamuz, I would still do something to the simplicity presets. They are just too basic for me(it is all very predictable). Maybe if you had the shapes morph some more it would be better.
zamuz
25th February 2003 02:34 UTC
Made some changes... Lots of colors in Simplicity, and moving sky and sea textures in Purple Sunset. Well... they kind of move... it's more noticable without sound. Also, the movement range of the sea part is limited to prevent ugly edges between tiles (that didn't work for the sky though...) To make the clouds change shape slower, go to the inner most Custom BPM and set the arbitrary BPM to something lower. Enjoy.

They are lovely, zamuz.
Simplicity still has the same basic simplicity, but with an added level that makes for a very nice effect. - 4.0
Purple Sunset - The sky isn't static which is great. It kinda flashes some, but it is still very nice. - 4.0
