wierd overlay glitch
i've been using the overlay for quite awhile now. just recently i had to reinstall my windows 2000 pro, everything was intact after the install except my video driver which got glitchy. i have a duel screen and the second screen just wouldent work. i d/led the latest driver and prosto all is good.....except now i cant get avs to go overlay mode.
the overlay mode only works at 320x220 or smaller any larger and the backround goes black, any help would be nice right about now.

Set your desktop resolution lower.

Apparently overlay mode doesn't like some screen reolutions. I'm not sure which ones.
Are the drivers the same ones you had before? If not, you may have to go to an older version.

i run at 1600x1200 but this isnt new from before, the driver however is a newer version.
i'll try some alternative res. if changing res once in a while is all that i need to do i'll survive

I think that 1024x768 is the max reso AVS overlay can handle before it craps out. Funny that fullscreen has support for ones over that (even though they probably run as slow as hell, I'm afraid to try them).

i can get it to run at 1280x1024
but what sucks is that on my old driver it ran at 1600x1200.
