AVS Basics - For the Non Technical User
I've read the faqs but still don't understand. The default new version winamp has something called an avs window that I can show/hide/maximise. Cool. But I don't like all of the visualizations, just some of them. How do I remove the ones I don't like. Thanks.

The presets are located in the wacs\data\avs subdirectory of your Winamp3 dir.

Thanks UnConeD .... indirectly sort of you helped me out. I stumbled onto the Settings/Presets-Hotkeys page, then the button for "Preset subdirectory to use for random/cycle". That with your response, I found I could copy avs files into a newly created subdirectory, then point to it with the button, and wa-la, I get to see just those I like. I was able to grab some avs files from my old winamp and put them in a directory,,,,happy camper. PS, I followed a FAQ item and successfully set avs as my animated desktop background .........killer....thanks much;)
