AVS on Mac?
We just bought a powerbook and I was wondering if there was a stand alone program that would allow me to use AVS (or something similar) with other audio programs on the Mac? Any help is appreciated.

i know that any app that can read winamp plugins can use avs but i'm not sure if that is working for mac

You could probably run AVS through an x86-emulator, but consider it's already slow on a PC, it'd be incredibly slow when emulated on a 68xxx processor.

i don't know how you could run avs stand alone on a mac (if it is at all possible) but i do know that there are several audio players available for macs with in-built visualisations so its quite probable that there is one out there with customisable ones too. you may want to check out www.macmusic.org they have tons of links to freeware and shareware audio software.
